Dr. Derek W. Ashby, O.D.
Cañon City, Colorado
Dr. Ashby attended the University of Utah for his Bachelor degree and earned his Doctorate of Optometry from Pacific University College of Optometry. He has completed several externships including the Eye Foundation of Utah, and Salt Lake City Veteran’s Hospital. He currently practices at Southern Colorado Eye Associates in Cañon City, Colorado.
Dr. George Hertneky, O.D.
Brush, Colorado
Dr. Hertneky was born and raised in Burlington, Colorado. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He earned his Doctorate of Optometry from Pacific University College of Optometry. He has also been involved in eye care missions in Mexico and Indonesia. He currently has a private optometry practice, Hertneky Vision Source in Brush, Colorado.
Dr. Deborah S. Lenahan, M.D.
Grand Junction, Colorado
Dr. Lenahan received her medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Alabama. She has also completed a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. She also completed a second fellowship in Vitreoretinal Surgery at Retina-Vitreous Associates in Birmingham, Alabama. Her research has been published in the Journal of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus and the American Orthoptic Journal. Dr. Lenahan has a private practice in Grand Junction, Colorado, Pediatric Eyecare of Western Colorado.
Dr. Lawrence L. Jacobs, O.D.
Highlands Ranch, Colorado
Dr. Jacobs received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin and a Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University. He served as an Associate Instructor at Indiana University. He has also volunteered for the Vision USA and Infantsee programs. He currently has a private optometry practice in Highlands Ranch Colorado, HD Eye Care Center.
